We guess you could say our story began back in 2012 when we first met. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight, but we did get married in 2017 and been loving life ever since. So the bits in-between don’t really matter.
Just before we got married, like 2 weeks before, Adi quit his job as a web developer. We had an amazing wedding and an incredible honeymoon in Bali. When we got back though, we realised we needed to do something, so we started a social media agency with nothing but a love for storytelling. Over the years it’s evolved and developed into what you see over here and more. It’s pretty difficult to sum it all up into a few sentences, so we hope that you’ll follow along and discover it all with us.
Yes, we do work, live, sleep, eat and do all of this together. And we wouldn’t change it for anything.
We will say that life together has been nothing short of an adventure. We’ve taken risks, followed our hearts, even when it made no sense to others, and we’ve seen God move in ways we could never have imagined. That’s why we’re so passionate about sharing and creating a space for you to be encouraged and equipped. We know that if we can do it, so can you!
Adi Wilson - 33
“I’m Adi. My full name is actually Adrian but nobody calls me that. I grew up in a small town called Bloemfontein but moved to Cape Town when I was 12. I’ve always been passionate about business and leadership. I have so many memories of creating and finding ways to start businesses. I started my first business when I was 10 years old. Yes, I climbed the apricot tree in our front yard and sold them for 20c each. I sold one and I felt invincible.
When I was 21 my mother went to be with Jesus, she passed on from a sudden heart attack, and a few years before that my best friend committed suicide. Despite all life’s losses, I’ve always chosen to see the positive and God side of situations. I’ve chosen to be a lifelong learner - not letting the fact of having to drop out of University stop me from learning and growing. That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing and creating. I learned to upskill myself - the school of Youtube. When I’m not taking photos, thinking of new business ideas or teaching someone about entrepreneurship, I love playing golf, making coffee, and being outdoors.”
Michka Wilson - 31
“Hi, I'm not really sure where to start, so I really love the beach, flowers, writing and pastries. I’ve had a bunch of random jobs before - teaching kids to compost to teaching ballet at a French school. But this by far has to be my favourite. Although, I do believe that they’ve all somewhat played a part in building and piecing together these beautiful days. Being a creative entrepreneur I love getting to build a business with my husband. He’s pretty cool. I actually grew up with my mom and sisters and didn’t really know my biological father so I think it’s pretty awesome to be married so young. Thanks Jesus for working it all out.
I sometimes do modelling, which is so much fun, and I have my own online store where I create original writing pieces. If there’s anything I want out of my life it’ll be that everything I do encourages peoples to know that they are amazing - and the world is too.”
