A Staycation At The Westin

City living without the chaos of it all.

MARCH_-3.jpg

Imagine living in the city but feeling like you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle? That’s pretty much what it’s like staying at the Westin. We’ve actually stayed here a few times, including a little birthday stay. And every time we’ve loved it. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, which always makes a stay so much better. Although it is in the heart of the city, you don’t feel like it. It’s such a cool escape that feels quiet and peaceful yet get to overlook all the beauty that the city holds. The views of Cape Town from almost anywhere here are just amazing. We spent so much of our time hopping between the sauna, pool and hot tub and we’re not even afraid to admit it. You’ll honestly probably do the same, we totally encourage it. After even just one night of staying here and taking in all the views and facilities, you’ll leave feeling so refreshed and relaxed. It’s like you were away for a few days.

What We Loved:

  • The staff go above and beyond for you and every occasion. If you ever need anything they’re super helpful too.

  • The facilities are amazing. The spa area available to guests is beyond relaxation. Even if you don’t go for a massage, after spending time in the sauna and hot tub, it will feel like you did.

  • The breakfast is great. And so is the room service menu.

  • They are generally pretty flexible with late checkouts.

  • The views are just wow.

  • Indoor pools are always a win.

Tips / Recommendations:

  • Use the facilities available. Sometimes we would go away and skip out on some, but the facilities make the stay even better.

  • Have a little hot tub session in the morning/day when the sun is out and you get a day view of the city and have another session at night. The two contrasting views are just so good.

  • Order your food to your room. It’s much fun.

  • Check their website for deals and specials. They often have some kind of a deal running.
